About Us
Coaching dogs and their families is my passion, what’s so exciting is that I come to you in the comfort of your home.
It’s really beneficial for you and your pup to learn and grow in their environment. This is where the fun and structure begin.
Ever since I was little girl animals were the center of my world, first horses then dogs but I do love and connect with all animals. That connection is an innate gift.
There’s something very unique about having a relationship with your dog. Obedience is a huge part of what I teach in training as its essential for caring for your pup but bonding, engagement and building a trusting relationship also goes a long way. I enjoy coaching families on their entire relationship with their best friend, the whole package.
The relationships I’ve had over the years with my dogs taught me to see life through a dog's eyes. To see everything in fascinating ways; the sun shining, storms brewing, children running, the elderly walking and leaves blowing in the wind. When dogs run off leash in a meadow, you can actually see them smiling. The way they look at us when we come home with their endearing eyes, it is an undeniable love. All we have to do is give our pups love, affection, structure, routine, obedience, playtime, engagement. & of course, a little more love on top of that. We owe it to them! The beautiful, loving, kind souls that they are.
My dear Rottweiler, Gabe, was my inspiration to start my dog coaching business. I'll be forever grateful for my time with him, he was truly my soul dog. I saw life through his perspective which opened my eyes to what dogs and different breeds think, see, and feel. RIP Gabe. My angel. A trusted companion.

My husband Lance and myself lost our Ozzie a couple of years ago. After a while we thought maybe we were ready to bring another dog into our home. This time instead of getting a pup we decided to adopt a dog that needed a home. I felt a connection to a sweet ~2-year-old rather large male pit mix. We brought our female to meet him, and they hit it off. When we left it was very difficult getting him into the car, but we thought it was just scary and stressful for him with everything going on. The car issue continued as well as extreme difficulty walking on leash. We worked with several trainers, but we found in the real-world Enzo got very excited and hard to control. After two incidents where Enzo got loose, my husband found Jami’s K9-Coaching. Jami has been working with us for a few months now and we’re making great progress! It no longer takes 2-3 people to get him in the car. We’re working on his self-control so someday we can take long walks without fear. We know it will take time, but Jami has been patient with us. Both our dogs love when she comes to work with them, and we all look forward to her visits. Jami’s experience with large breed dogs has been a life saver for us even with the small issue of Enzo not liking to go into the kitchen, who knew all we needed was a throw rug! I highly recommend Jami’s K9-Coaching for an individualized training program designed specifically for you and your dog(s).
